P 453 - P 462 Dec. 2-4, 2011 National Court Excellence Enhancement Programme (CEEP II - 20)

This is a new line of programme being introduced this year on a pilot basis. The main purpose of CEEP is to develop a comprehensive framework for enhancing the excellence of courts that involves all stakeholders of a court - bench, bar, ministerial staff, prosecutors, civil society and police. About 100 selected courts from across the country that face high levels of delay, arrears, quality and access challenges will be analyzed in detail. The main aim of the CEEP is to develop an agenda of action required to enhance the excellence of the Court. CEEP will also enable NJA to identify common national challenges in enhancing court excellence across the country.
